Who actually arranges my safari?
This site is a planning guide. When you send an enquiry it goes to Nomad Africa, our partner travel agency in Kenya, who prepare your itinerary and quote and handle the booking, the payments and you on the ground.
You deal with one team from the first email to the airport transfer home.
How does the 24-hour promise work?
Send the form with your dates, party and rough budget and our Africa specialist replies within 24 hours with a tailored outline itinerary and a costed quote — not a brochure and not an auto-reply.
If your dates are complicated or you have asked about a camp that needs a manual availability check, the first reply will say so and give you a firm time for the detail.
Do you charge for planning?
No. Sending your dates, getting an itinerary and getting a costed quote is free and carries no obligation. Money only changes hands when you decide to hold space at a camp.
What is actually included in a safari price?
A Africa safari is usually quoted fully inclusive: accommodation, all meals, park and conservancy fees, your guide and vehicle, and transport between parks. Most camps include soft drinks, house wine, beer and laundry.
Not included: international flights, visas or travel authorisation, travel insurance, tips, premium drinks, and extras like balloon flights and spa treatments.
How far ahead should I book?
For July to October — the migration months in the Masai Mara — six to twelve months is normal, and the best small camps sell out first. Christmas and New Year book up just as early.
For the shoulder months, three to four months is usually comfortable. Inside eight weeks we can still put a very good trip together, but you are choosing from what is left rather than from everything.
Is a Africa safari safe?
The safari areas themselves are well run, and camps take guest safety seriously. The practical risks are ordinary travel risks: road transfers, sun, stomach upsets and not listening to your guide around animals.
Check your own government’s current travel advice for Africa before you book and again before you fly, and take out insurance that covers medical evacuation. We will not tell you an area is fine if the advice says otherwise.
Which of your fifty sites should I read?
If you know the country, start with the guide for it. If you know the kind of trip — honeymoon, bespoke, exclusive-use — start with that family’s hub. If you know neither, the destinations page here is the shortest route to a decision.

Can I talk to somebody rather than fill in a form?
Yes. Say so in the message box with a time zone and a couple of windows that work, and the specialist will arrange a call rather than send an itinerary first.
We do not cold-call. If you do not ask for a call, you will not get one.
What happens to my details?
They go to us and to the partner agency and to nobody else. We do not sell or rent contact details, and there are no advertising trackers on any of our sites.
You can ask for everything we hold to be deleted at any point and we will do it. The privacy notice sets out the detail.
Do you cover countries other than these six?
Not at the moment, and we would rather say so than pretend. The partnership is strongest in East Africa, with Botswana and Zanzibar alongside it, and the guides reflect where we can genuinely help.
If you want somewhere we do not cover, say so anyway — a straight "we are not the right people for that" costs you one email and saves you more.
